Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/20/2014

Number: 12

Had a very active summer..about 14-20 per day. We had two rounds of babies..the last just recently. The youngsters are filling up an out ..even with temps as low as mid 40's

We've had just a few males off and on the past week..still many females , and still lots of slim little winglets! This week had a couple of days where we thought most had left..but we're averaging about 8-10 ---about 4 young males and about 6 young females.

The Bees are doing their best to keep the hummers away, but the birds are winning out! We treasure every day these little wonders will give us : ))
