On september 20, 2014, between 12:00 and 13:30 hours, I made 23 Monarch Butterfly sights in a Flower Garden with Asclepias curassavica, Lantana sp. ,Salvia, sp., Tecoma stans, and others. This was at “Sierra Hermosa”, a small locality at the Municipio of Gómez Palacio, Durango, México; 1,150 meters above sea level and 25.681404 of Long. N , 103.625260 Lat. W. We´ve been watching butterflies in this garden all year each two weeks. In the last two observations (two weeks and a month ago) we "sighted" one o two butterflies that "look like" Monarchs; but we could not take pictures. Today the quantity was surprising. They were feeding mainly in Asclepias and also in Lantana flowers.
