Male monarch was found flapping on the grass near my milkweed patch. Left forewing was stuck to chrysalis but otherwise, butterfly looked healthy. Newly emerged, slightly damp wings. Took him indoors to wait until today (24 hrs) to cut tip of bad wing off and repair. Checked for OE and is negative.
