We have hedgerow alongside the road to our house for about 1/2 mile on both sides. As we were driving down the road about 6 or 6:30 pm. I noticed Monarchs crossing the road from one side to the other along the whole half mile. The 90 count may be a little conservative. It appeared that it may have been a staging area for them. About 2 hours later a cool front and brief rain storm came thru and may have taken them south.
