For the past several weeks we've seen two females chasing chasing each other around and away from our feeder, and when bees have the audacity to sip the feeder's nectar, the hummers chase them away too! Even the cold snap we had here hasn't sent them south yet. We are hoping they'll stick around until mid-October, as they did in 2013. We love our magical hummers!
