While I was mowing our acre lawn Saturday, this process takes appx. 2 hours, I saw SEVERAL monarchs winging heir way south. It was a beautiful warm day and they were on the move. No waves just a lot of singles.

The day before on 9-19 there were several waves of 10 and less Goldfinches heading south, that is the first time I have ever seen that. We always have finches that stay the winter
