Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/21/2014

Number: 7

The longest observed adult was for 2 hours & 8 minutes on Butterfly Bushes. It's right wing was not symmetrical to the left. It may have been due to formation in the cocoon. Otherwise, the wings were in very good condition.

The second longest observed adult was for 1 hour & 52 minutes. It was a perfect specimen, with brilliant color and symmetrical formation. It's wings were in excellent condition.

Another adult stayed for 6 minutes, while the remaining four only lighted on the Butterfly Bush for about a minute or less. One was faded in color, but none looked tattered.
