At least 100 butterflies nectaring in this 10 acre field of red clover. The roost I saw and reported had 50 monarchs, so I'm sure this number is an underestimate. This is definitely my peak migration sighting of the year. The abundance of blooming clover in this field is no doubt the reason so many were here.
