I was driving along a shopping center in northwest Ft. Wayne, around 2:30 p.m.Saturday afternoon, and saw a Monarch heading south above the parking lot! It was moving along pretty fast!
Later, when I got home, in the southern part of Ft. Wayne, I saw another Monarch butterfly resting and eating on my zinnias. It was out there about 15 minutes, then flew around, but came back to eat some more. It looked healthy and very pretty! It must've been out there close to an hour then flew away heading south!
