I was out at the Park this morning. Besides a fair showing of shorebirds, there were lots of Monarchs there, especially on Owen Point, and close by. But then you probably know that. Several times I trained my binocs on a "raptor" high in the sky and it turned out to be a Monarch!
Winds were from northwest when photo taken, but later changed to south west. Not sure about temperatures, but there were no clouds and may have been in the mid 60's F at that time of day. Later approaching 70 F but cooler in the shade. About 60 monarchs sheltered at Owen Point tip.
