We first observed a juvenile eagle fly across the lake and roost on a light pole. We took a boat to the area from which he flew and discovered the female high in a tree above the water's edge. She remained there for some time. After about 30 minutes the male appeared and perched beside her. Still the young bird did not return. When we left, the adult birds were still high in the same tree by the water. No one else on the lake in boats seemed to notice the birds. This happened at about 6pm.
We have seen all 3 eagles in that same location every day since the first sighting.
