I had 3 monarchs in the zinnia batch late this afternoon. I am not sure how long they had been in the garden. I only watched them long enough to get a good picture. I do know there was a male and a female. They fed on zinnia and the Mexican sunflower. One of the monarchs landed in the the dogwood tree to sun it's self storing up heat for our cool night ahead.
