Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/22/2014

Number: 1

Looks like our female RT hummer left the morning of September 19th. That day, out of character, she came right up to the window and gave us quite a show. I believe she, in her own way, was thanking us and saying goodbye. Sure enough....the next day she was gone. Not only was she gone, we saw no other hummers that day. It was the first day of not seeing one of these precious birds since April 26th. Early on Sept. 21st our latest visitor arrived and is still with us today. I was able to get a picture of the beauty. I know any day they will be gone. So everyone, enjoy them while they are still with us and may they find safe havens on their journey south.
