After being away for 2 weeks, it was a pleasure to see 5 monarchs today, the most I have seen at one time this whole summer! None were tagged; at least 2 were male. All except one looked big and vigorous. They hung around all day feeding on the butterfly bushes.
I've been waiting for a day like this all summer.
