Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/23/2014

Number: 2

Saw two Monarchs today on the back hill. Both were females. The first had crumpled wings which I tried to fix with scotch tape.......results questionable, but I thought it worth the risk. The second was in perfect shape. Both will have a difficult time making it to Mexico. This is our last week of nice weather in all probability, and the winds are predicted to be from the south through Saturday. Photo is a mix of Miss Crumple and Miss NotCrumple........
