Around 3:15 PM, I was cycling with my husband on our rural roads. About 5 miles east from our home and in the township of Java, we saw a monarch 'sailing' along the edge of the roadside. Earlier in the day we had seen a monarch about 3 miles due west of this location. Was this the same butterfly? I like to think that this was new sighting.
