Todays weather, a gentle N wind, starting bringing monarchs in to Cape May Point late in the afternoon. I was hoping to find some roosts tonight with the chillier temperatures and we did! There were about 200 monarchs seen settling down in groups around Cape May Point. One tree I found had 50 clustered together while other trees had multiple groups of 10 - 20 monarchs. I only checked a few known spots so there could have been more.
