Another sunny and beautiful day with temps in the mid 70's and a light southwest wind, I spotted over 220 monarchs. I arrived at the area at 5:45 pm and the monarchs were already roosting in the pine trees with the setting sun's rays caressing them. The golden rod has finally bloomed and is plentiful.
