We still have 2 females visiting the feeders daily. Four days ago, it was quite a warm day & one of the girls was visiting the feeder near the back door & as I'm sitting in the other room, I hear all sorts of buzzing of wings & squawking from the kitchen, I ran to see two Hummers buzzing around in my kitchen! My husband & I were able to corner one in the skylight & the other flew to the window where we were able to gently capture it & take it outside... I swear they know us, that little bird didn't even fly off right away, it sat on Mikes hand & looked at each of us, and flew off after gathering itself & catching a breath I imagine... was so afraid they'd get hurt, but all was well & we had a special visi with our little friends! Don't recall them ever staying quite so late before...
