Driving along Route 115 near the Carroll/Jefferson town line and close by to the Pondercherry National Wildlife Refuge, I spotted 3 Monarchs within a one mile stretch of road. Each was flying seperately and appeared to be flying in a southerly direction.
I have only seen 2 others all season.
