oh, my ! ! ! i'd taken grandchildren to the pumpkin patch for the day. in a wooded area, mostly hackberry, were unbelieveable numbers of roosting monarchs. within a 2 square foot area, on one branch, were 17. the numbers were consistent as we walked through the area. what a blessing in too many ways.
