A big cold front with rain pushed into the TX Hill Country on Set. 12 continuing into the wee hours of Sept. 13.
Looking out the dining room window about 8am on Sept. 13, I saw my first ruby-throated hummingbird at the feeder in my butterfly-hummingbird garden. Subsequently I've found them nectaring in the garden.
