Many people enjoying an outdoor lunch are enjoying some free entertainment today 23 Sept 2014
Monarchs are floating past their picnic tables at eye level, in quantity.

Along the bluff overlooking Pigeon Bay with Pelee Island on the horizon, the Monarchs are moving along the crest of the bluff (westward) at a rate of more than 200 per hour) at heights from inches to 10 feet. The bluff is about 60 feet higher than the lake level.
They are sampling white clover in the lawn and some are enjoying Helianthus in gardens at the edge of the park.
There is a gentle wind from the southwest (at the movement).
The parking lot at the Leamington Marina and at the Pelee Island Ferry are providing a similar spectacle for those who are interested.
