I saw two Monarchs yesterday, September 23rd. One of them stayed on my New England Aster all day just moving from flower to flower. I saw it head into a hackberry tree to roost about 6:15pm. Today is a grey, damp, gloomy day in the upper 60s and I've seen two Monarchs each in a different area of my garden feeding on New England Asters. One has been there for several hours even with a slight drizzle coming down. See attached picture.
