This monarch is sharing a butterfly bush blossom with a Painted Lady. There were 3 monarchs in the garden today a male and female. I never got close enough to see what the 3rd one was. They feed on butterfly bush and Mexican sunflowers and zinnias. They seemed stay around awhile today there was always at least one on the flowers.
