A Rufous Hummingbird was first observed on September 13th at the home of Mary and Steve Nesgoda, Tyrone Township, LeSueur County in Minnesota. Ornithologists, members of the Minnesota Ornithological Union, verified the sighting on September 15.
It is the FIRST of its kind recorded in above county and township, believed to be the fourth documented report of an adult male in Minnesota since records began. The bird remains as of September 24th, and has had 199 visitors.....
