I saw at least three females at my feeder 09/23/14. One sat perched on the feeder for at least 45 seconds. Then she would feed, and relax before she fed again. She kept that up for at least 3 minutes. I have a feeling that's the last of the sightings this year. Seeing those tiny, little jewels brings me such joy. This will surely be a long, endless winter.
