Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/26/2014

Number: 1

We have been seeing a lone female ruby throat hummingbird for the past three days.

During the summer, we were using one gallon of syrup per day. The week before Labor Day the males departed. We were still seeing 12-18 females at a time at six feeders. We were away for week of September 13-20, and when we returned, we made fresh syrup and filled two feeders, which are still hanging.
