I spoke too soon, my buddy still is with me. Just shortly after sunrise this morning, I saw her on the wire and called for her and she turned around immediately and came to greet me. Then she proceeded to drink a lot of sugar water. She is getting so fat! This morning it was 41 degrees, and today is supposed to be a high of 68. A beautiful day to return to the south. I get sad thinking about her departure.
