no mature males today although have had 2 or 3 during this past week. will sure miss them once they are gone. had a 2nd Allen's hummingbird a couple weeks ago - first year we have seen anything other than ruby-throats. here's a pic of the Allen's and a ruby-throat - they did not seem to get along and when the ruby dived at the Allen's it simply somersaulted around the wire he was sitting on and hung under it until the ruby departed.
