We are still seeing numerous monarchs crossing the roads here during the day. I have never seen this kind of a migration. They are more like nectaring there way to Mexico this year!! In the past, as soon as the early September roosts leave, you only saw the isolated straggler, never many per day and small roosts this late into September.
