A juvenile Ruby-throated Hummingbird zoomed up to the window, then sipped from the butterfly bush flower this early morning as a robin flock investigated the garden. A goldfinch bathed in the dew of the cupped elderberry leaves. It has been three days since a hummingbird was here.
