Today I saw the most monarchs migrating south than I have seen since September 15. I was pretty surprised. We were at a soccer complex in Des Moines. A few of them were even flying in the rain. If we had been there later in the day we would have seen more. I think this is one of those last big migration days before the end. I also saw a monarch stop by in our garden on the zinnias.
