Just 2 days ago I released my last monarch. Today, incredibly, my husband found a cat crawling on the driveway and a chrysalis hanging on the siding. Almost all milkweed is dead, only waiting for pods to open so not much for it to feed on. I put him in the last area of any viable milkweed and hope it's enough.
