After seeing 1 ruby throat hummer this morning and then nothing for several hours thought maybe our hummers had ventured south. But saw 2 on the feeders late in the afternoon. 1 is a juvenile male that is getting very close to being an adult. Very dark throat feathers. Watched them tank up before going to roost for the night.
