I counted 139 monarchs from September 22 to September 28. Although the main winds were mostly WSW or SSW, the winds were light and the temperature in the 70's all week with 90-100 % sunshine. Last year I counted zero for the same time period. From August 18 to September 28, I counted 935 monarchs as compared to 534 last year for the same time period. A cold front is now approaching, so I should see more monarchs from Canada.
