Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/28/2014

Number: 3

Before leaving home this morning, I did not see any hummers. Normally between my feet hitting the floor and leaving, I have several sighting at flowers and or feeders. There was a little tug at my heart. This evening I was on the patio wondering if my resident hummers moved on. Shortly thereafter, I see a juvenile sitting. Before zooming off, He ate from the bat plant. He needs fatting up before migrating South. Within minutes, two adult females are darting around the yard. One finally gets to enjoy the feeder. I read sighting from others, paying close attention to those north of me. I might have a few more opportunities to enjoy these amazing birds.
