Over a period of an hour (8:45am-9:45 am), I observed 10 monarch butterflies fly through our yard. Along the west edge of our 3 acre property, we have a tree line that runs SSW. The monarchs tend to fly along the tree line as they migrate through. This morning, I sat and watched for an hour and counted 10. The temperature was 58-62F and the wind was only 2 mph from the NNW.
