This is one day past my last RT hummer daily sighting last year (I had one surprising straggler come mid Oct., luckily, I still had one feeder out--Please, leave those feeders out with fresh nectar so these stragglers can make the journey safely!!!) This year today I sighted two birds at once plus action all day off and on. Both were juveniles and appeared to be females. No aerial shenanigans today to report.

I am going to miss the RT hummingbirds so much when they have all gone south.

Weather--cloudy, high of 71 F, low of 67 F; winds very slight (under 5 mph). Birds consumed 2 oz. Forecast to be cooler overnight but warmer tomorrow.
