Just when I thought, for this season, I'd seen the last of these awesome creatures, one shows up outside my kitchen window. She checked out the feeder without drinking. It was mostly cloudy, 63 degrees at 8:40am. My last sighting before today was on Sept. 26th. (a juvenile male). He was with us a couple of days. Enjoy his picture! What joy they have brought to my heart and to my garden this year. It's hard going through hummingbird withdrawal. Safe journeys little ones.
