Sad fact of life this female has a defective wing. It dose not have any trouble flying it looks brand new and had some silk left on its wings. I also saw a male he was in perfect condition. They both were feeding the butterfly bush and the Mexican sunflower. I have never had monarchs this let in the season. But I will enjoy as along as they want to stay. I only watched them long enough to get my pictures. So I can't say how long they were feeding in the garden. I did notice they arrive around 10:00 a.m. every day.
