The last two days of September, I counted 3 monarchs as compared to 6 last year. This past September of 2014, I counted 940 monarchs as compared to:
295 in 2013,
26 in 2012,
167 in 2011, and
926 in 2010, when I first started with JN.

Over these 5 years I totaled 256 hours of observations counting these 2,354 monarchs at Harrisville State Park and the City of Harrisville. This averages out to 9.1 monarchs per hour and 470.8 per September.
