counted from paved private roadway behind development area nectaring on Red Clover along with approx. 20 Painted Lady and the usual Sulphurs in late afternoon. 8 Canada Geese were in the field capturing grasshoppers and being vigilant about my car.
Max viewing distance to butterflies approx. 200 ft. (sun was over my right shoulder as I counted. (this area is often called "back of Shoeless Joes" on Ontario butterflies Google discussion group
