The butterfly bush in my midtown backyard was loaded with monarchs this past weekend. We saw 6-8 all day Sunday and Monday. Very nice to see! I didn’t notice any tagged individuals, but I’ll keep watching. I’ve never had the pleasure of recovering a tagged monarch yet, only releasing ones that others have found.
