Here are the sightings for Monarchs in my local patch (N Buncombe County) over the past few weeks. A notable influx at the end of last week (25th and 26th) has tapered off. A short visit to the Sandy Mush Game Lands on the 30th yielded no Monarchs, although they still persisted in my local patch, mostly nectaring on Mexican sunflower and Zinnia
All the monarchs seen well in the last week were very fresh looking.

27th to 30th - 3 or 4 daily
