For the past 2-3 days we have had only one little hummer left at our feeders. It is a very pretty little juvenile female hummer whom we have named Sweet Pea. We have had torrential downpours of rain for two days and nights with 5 inches in our rain gauge this morning. Little Sweet Pea has survived all of this, and seems no worse for it. These little hummers are truly amazing creatures.
