We had our first hard frost of the fall in Lethbridge this morning. My thermometer registered -3*C. At 10:38, the time of this report frost still hasn't melted in shaded areas. I suspect a lot of the bedding plants are done for the year and this should trigger a pretty good leaf fall in the next wind. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. American Robins and White-throated Sparrows are busy feeding in the back yard and making good use of water features.
