Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/03/2014

Number: 1

Around 11:15 a.m., a transient female hummingbird flew in to drink from my pineapple sage flowers. Five stalks of flowers were blooming, and she visited each stalk's flowers for several seconds before flitting to the next one. She flew up to a tree branch, rested for a couple of minutes, and then came back to drink again. After that round, she flew away for good. I'm glad I could provide this little bird with the nectar she needed along her journey.
