2 monarchs in backyard butterfly bushes. One identified as male, other unknown. Male stayed in garden for 1 hour. Only on butterfly bushes, not on torch tithonia. Later in the day I found wings of a male monarch at the bottom of the bush. I'm guessing death was due to a praying mantis. Don't know when the confrontation was.
