On October 4th, 2014, between 11:30 and 12:30 hours, I made 18 Monarch Butterfly sights in a Flower Garden. This was at “Sierra Hermosa”, a small locality at the Municipio of Gómez Palacio, Durango, México; 1,150 meters above sea level and 25.68 of Lat. N , -103.62 Long. W. We´ve been watching butterflies in this garden all year each two weeks. Today it was mid cloudy and the quantity for the conditions was amazing. They were feeding mainly in Asclepias and also in Lantana flowers, we see a pair mating on fly and after reposing in a tree. There were several monarch larvae on the Asclepias.
